Alex is a multi-award-winning theatre actor & producer, born and raised in the North.

He has over fifteen years of experience working with more than 60 companies across the UK, including the National Theatre, New Vic Theatre and Northern Broadsides. Beginning with an award-winning solo fringe show which highlighted his versatility as a performer, he was cast in the “Entertainment Phenomenon” (Daily Telegraph) War Horse, which toured the UK, Ireland & South Africa.

Alex is also founder and senior producer of Thunder Road, specialists in the world of horror theatre.  His passion for drawing young audiences into theatre has helped to establish the company as an acclaimed mid-scale touring enterprise; touring the UK year in year out, championing the use of cinematic projection on stage.
